16 Years & Under Boys Hockey Trials The selection process for the NSW All Schools 16 Years Boys Team has changed for 2018. CIS will be selecting a team of up to 13 players to go to the NSW All Schools Camp from where the state team will be selected. All entries will come in through associations .

The process will be as follows: Players 16 Years and Under will be accepted to trial and compete as members of Association Open Teams. Players who are 16 Years and Under who do not make their Association Team but are considered to have the strength, skill and maturity to still be considered, can be included in a second Association Team ie. A partial team entry for 16 Years and Under players only. Please note that the standard at the All Schools level is extremely high and we will only accept players who are turning 15 or 16 years in the partial team nominations.

The timeline for both Open and 16 years and Under Nominations is as follows:

10 May 2018 - Open Boys Association Team Entry Due – Nomination of the intention to field a complete team at the CIS Championship/Trial – No Team Member names are required at this stage if you are fielding a complete team. Partial Team Nominations from any Association not fielding a complete Open Team as well as any Partial Teams which include a second team of 16 Years and Under Players are also due. ALL names of players in partial teams must be submitted by this date so the complete trial format can be finalised.

17th May 2018 - Association Open Team Lists Due Only Associations fielding complete Open Teams will submit names by this date. ALL OTHER NOMINATIONS CLOSE ON 10 MAY. Both the Open and 16 Years and Under Boys Hockey Trials will be held on 24th May, 2018. The format for the day will be finalised once Partial and Full Team entries have been received on the 10th May.
