CIS Primary Rugby Union Nominations Close

Nomination Eligibility
Year 6 students turning 11 or 12 in 2018 or Year 5 students turning 12 in 2018

General Nomination Information
  • All nominations must be submitted online.
  • No late Nominations will be accepted.
  • Individual Nominations that do not have principal approval will not be accepted.
  • If you are having trouble with your nominations contact CIS before Nominations Close
  • COST: $24.30 per nomination. Nomination fees will be invoiced via the Sports Association and school at the end of Term 1.   Students that withdraw from the trial will be charged, unless CIS or the Convenor is contacted prior to the event.
  • Check your Nomination has been Received
    Once submitted please check your “My Nominations” area which can be found when you are logged into the website in the drop down menu under “My Profile.” If you cannot see the nomination here it has not been received by CIS. Try again or contact CIS.
  • Encourage parents to check that their son/daughter has been entered by using the "Check Nominations" on the Left Hand Menu of the CIS Web Page.   If this is used correctly it is a great safeguard to support busy teachers and ensure that someone is not accidently overlooked. 

Method Nomination
  • Individual Player Nominations to be submitted by the school online
  • Schools are advised that they should only send players of outstanding ability. Schools should use the following as a guide when working out how many students to nominate.  If in doubt about the standard required please contact the convenor.
  • Schools participating in weekly Saturday competitions 1-2 Rugby Year 6 Teams competing 3 players can be nominated;  3 Rugby Year 6 Teams competing 4 players can be nominated;  4-5 Year 6 Rugby teams competing 6 players can be nominated.  For schools not competing in regular Saturday competition a maximum of 3 players can be nominated.
  • If schools feel they have a strong case for sending more players they should contact the Rugby Union Convenor
