CIS Boys Water Polo Trials 2018
Each Association may enter ONE team of up to 13 players
Individuals nominated by Associations not entering a team but rather seeking access for a few talented players, will form the basis of a Barbarian Team which will compete at the trials. Should no individual nominations be received there will be no Barbarian team. Should 1 association (not entering a team) enter an individual there will be a barbarian team competing.
Associations entering a team are asked to select three shadow players at their trials. Once the Association Entry date has passed if a Barbarian Team is required, CIS will notify each Association of how many shadows are required from each Association to form the Barbarian Team. CIS will organise a coach for the Barbarian Team.
Association Team Entry Date – All Associations are asked to indicate their intention to enter a team to the Boys Water Polo Trials by this date. If your association is not entering a team but wishes to provide a path for a few talented players, you will need to submit a Partial Team Entry. Only one partial team entry from an Association will be accepted so schools must forward their nominations to their Association delegate or Association nominated committee member for submitting well prior to this date. If there is no active member on the CIS Secondary Boys Water Polo Committee access is limited to 3 players. The names of these players must be submitted by this date. Association Team lists will be required in a week’s time.
