CIS Secondary Cross Country Association Team Lists Due

Nomination Eligibility
Secondary Students from CIS affiliated schools who are 12-19 Years as at 31 / 12 /in year of competition.

General Nomination Information

Association Entry Only, to be submitted in an Excel File.   This file can be accessed under related documents on this page along with school codes.

  • No late nominations will be accepted.
  • All nominations must have principal approval.
  • If you are having trouble with your nomination contact CIS before nominations close.
  • COST: $24.30 per nomination. Nomination fees will be invoiced via the Sports Association and school at the end of Term 1.   Students that withdraw from the trial will be charged, unless CIS or the Convenor is contacted prior to the event.
  • Check your Nomination has been Received
    Once submitted please check your “My Nominations” area which can be found when you are logged into the website in the drop down menu under “My Profile.” If you cannot see the nomination here it has not been received by CIS. Try again or contact CIS.
  • Encourage parents to check that their son/daughter has been entered by using the "Check Nominations" on the Left Hand Menu of the CIS Web Page.   If this is used correctly it is a great safeguard to support busy teachers and ensure that someone is not accidently overlooked. 


Method Nomination

Association team entries are to be submitted on the excel file loaded under Related Documents on the primary Cross Country page of the website.   School codes have also been loaded under Related Documents.

When submitting entries please entries you will need the following information:

Name: 
please ensure that it is spelt correctly
Date of Birth:  PLEASE ENSURE THAT IT IS CORRECT
School: Use the school code

Multi Class Entries
Multi Class athletes wishing to compete must have a provisional / national classification registered with NSWCIS and fall within the following categories-

Intellectually Disabled - ID (T20)
Hearing Impaired - HI (T01)
Physical Impairment (PI). This will be restricted to Cerebral Palsy- CP7 and CP8 (T35,T36,T37 or T38) or Amputee T44, T45or T46 or Visually Impaired T12 and T13 (T13 must run with a guide).

Multi-Class athletes are entered as with all other competitors on the Association Team Entry Form.   Currently there are no limits on the number of multiclass entries.

School Team Entries
A school Team is comprised of 4 students from one school. School Team Entries will be automatically determined from the Association Entry. Where an association has more than one school team in their allocated entry numbers the best placed team on the day will be considered.
